The home is within walking distance to the Westin Riverfront Resort & Gondola. The hot tub on property is right outside the front door of the home. The Zig Zag Lodge can accommodate up to 10 guests. The location is unbeatable: 10 min drive minute drive to Beaver Creek Resort, 30 feet to the ski shuttle to Beaver Creek and Vail, or a 5 min walk to the Westin Resort & Gondola. The home is also a quick 5 min walk to Starbucks and several of Avon's shops and restaurants. This place was perfect for our 2 families (4 adults and 5 kids). The condo is very nice and clean with a lot of nice perks like heated floors in the bathroom and a garage for 1 car or just storing your gear. There are 2 balconies (one on each floor) that are perfect for relaxing and just listening to the creek that is directly behind the condo, probably my favorite part. The hot tub is also really nice and just a few steps from the front door. The kids also enjoyed playing in the creek just behind the condo, jumping on rocks and exploring. There is bus transportation, and you can walk to the Westin gondola and bus stop to Beaver/Vail, but it is ~0.5mi and that's a decent walk in ski boots with kids. So we ended up driving to catch the (free) bus to Vail or Beaver or just driving directly. Overall, fantastic place and we would highly recommend it.
